Nothing happens
The ‘responsible’ user for the products is notified that they are out of stock.
The original packages can’t be shipped; they have to wait until all items are back in stock.
The original delivery order is completed, products can be delivered to the customer, and the backorder is created and linked in the chatter of the original delivery order. The backorder can be accessed from the ‘Delivery Orders’ card on the Inventory Overview page.
